Maybe it's alright to categorize this as their own form of religion. I am not even sure which I should find more ridiculous. People believing in religious authorities who claim to communicate with God, or people believing some random ass average joe to be God. (At least in America, it's either that poor people join for money, sex appeal and honorable treatment, or some altruistic and heroic people join because they actually believe that the American democracy is saving world. Maybe it does bring good to this world. Who knows. Maybe that counts as another belief system, although it should differ in that it actually involves altruism). Maybe Kamikaze god really existed and got mad when Japan named their smart bombs after Kamikaze, so made Japan lose the war.
